Six Senses Resorts & Spas Announce New Management Roles

Frank Wesselhoeft joins Six Senses as manager of the new Evason Hideaway & Spa at Hua Hin, where he will be responsible for the pre opening and day to day operations.Frank comes to Evason Hideaway from the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London where he was Guest Floor Services Manager. Prior to joining Mandarin in 1999 he worked with Ritz Carlton and The Churchill, also in London. Having graduated from the Cologne Hotel School he took further studies at Cornell before commencing his career at Hotel Im Wasserturm in Cologne and then the Hotel Steigenberger where he held a number of front office positions.

Colin Spark has joined the Six Senses family in the position of Deputy Conscience - Environment and Social Responsibility. Colin’s role involves coordinating and implementing the Environmental and Social Responsibility efforts of Six Senses, at the group level. He will initially be based in the Maldives then at Six Senses Head Office in Bangkok.

Colin joined Six Senses after 8 years with Halcrow Group where he was an Environmental Consultant based in Hong Kong and involved with numerous projects in Europe and Asia. Originally involved with a number of “heavy” engineering projects over the past two years he has been involved with a number of sustainable development projects and environmental technology projects in China and Mongolia. He is a passionate promoter of sustainable development and environmental protection through the use of intelligent design, construction methods and energy management.


Keith Kornfeld had joined us as Executive Chef at Evason Phuket Resort & Spa. Previously, Keith was the Executive Chef at Coco Palm Resort in the Maldives and, prior to that, was Executive Sous Chef at The Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Tower in Bangkok.

In his 10 years experience, he has also worked as Executive Sous Chef at The Westin and Banyan Tree Bangkok, authored a book and been a cooking instructor.

Keith began his culinary career in Louisiana and then Hawaii, before coming to Thailand in 2000. He is American Citizen.Ê His e-mail address: [email protected]

Charoonsri (Charlie) Hannah has joined Evason Phuket Resort & Spa as a Rooms Division Manager.

Khun Charoonsri brings many years of experience in the hotel industry from overseas, having had roles with Front Office, Revenue and Reservations. Charlie received her education in Hotel Management, Public Relations and Business Administration from San Jose State University. Charlie also received Specialization Food and Beverage Management from Motel & Hotel Association Institute (MHAI).
