Brentwood Bay Lodge and Spa Opens in Canada

Western Canada’s
newest luxury oceanfront resort, Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa, opened today.
The contemporary timber-and-glass west coast lodge is located on a
pristine inlet on British Columbia’s Vancouver Island, near the city of
Victoria. “After more than two years of detailed planning and construction I’m
delighted to open the doors and welcome guests to our new luxury boutique
resort, which will set a new standard in luxury accommodation and service
on Vancouver Island,” said Scott Mawhinney, General Manager of Brentwood
Bay Lodge & Spa.

As part of the opening season celebration, Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa is
offering a “First Night is On Us” promotion, which gives guests a
complimentary night’s stay in one of the resort’s spectacular ocean-view
rooms with a booking of two or more nights. Introductory room rates start
at $495 CDN (approximately $367 USD) nightly based on double occupancy.
This exceptional offer is available until October 15, 2004.

Recently awarded membership in the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the
World, Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa offers numerous unique and specialized
services for guests seeking a relaxing and intimate getaway to enjoy fine
dining, inspired spa treatments and exceptional recreational activities.
Celebrated Executive Chef Brock Windsor and Sommelier Brian Storen lead
the resort’s Arbutus Grille & Wine Bar, featuring Vancouver Island cuisine
and a selection of fine regional and international wines.

Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa also features a collection of original artwork
of internationally acclaimed B.C. artists in its Fine Art Gallery - a
“living” art gallery that rotates regularly and showcases a collection of
original artwork in an inspiring range of mediums and styles. On Saturday,
May 29 well-known artist Philip Mix launches the gallery with a show
entitled “Arbutus: Westcoast Luminism.” His paintings will be on display
until June 30.
