Le Méridien to Expand Further in Asia

Leading hotel and real estate owner, TCC Property Management Company Limited and global luxury hotel group, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, today jointly announced the signing of management agreements for three new hotels located in Thailand and Cambodia. The hotels are:
? Le Méridien Angkor - a 223-room new build hotel currently in the final phase of construction in the heart of Siem Reap and due to open in early September 2004;
? Le Méridien Chiang Mai - a 400-room new build hotel due to commence construction on Chan Klan Road in the city centre and due to open in Q4 2006;
? Le Méridien Bangkok - a 350-room new build hotel located on Surawong Road due to commence construction featuring Le Méridien’s “Art + Tech” room design concept and scheduled to open in Q4 2006. Once completed, Le Méridien Bangkok will become the sister hotel to “Plaza Athénée Bangkok, A Royal Méridien Hotel” which Le Méridien also operates on behalf of TCC Property Management Company Limited.

The signing of the three management agreements by Dr. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chairman of TCC Property Management Company Limited and Robert Riley, Chief Executive Officer of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, marks a significant step in the growing relationship between TCC Property Management and Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts.
