Alex Nieuwmeyer, Divi Resorts Director of Operations for Aruba & Bonaire, has announced that Astrid Muller has been appointed General Manager of the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort. 
Looking forward to working with the food and beverage outlets, including the beachside Sunset Bistro, Mrs. Muller will focus on the Resort’s distinctive amenities and activities to create an extraordinary vacation experience for all rsort guests. 

A native of Aruba, Mrs. Astrid is a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry and was previously employed with Divi Resorts for twelve years.

She is a former Director of the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA), is currently Chairperson for the Environmental Committee of the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association (AHATA) and also serves as a Board member of the Aruba Management Training Institute on behalf of AHATA.  Mrs. Muller is a graduate of Cornell University.
