Cosmos Signs to NTL Business’s Broadband Travel Network

signing of leading tour operators, Cosmos and Avro to its Broadband Travel Network.
Cosmos will take ntl business (travel division)‘s Broadband
Professional across their 14 UK sites. These will include Cosmos’ head office in
Bromley, each brand’s airport information desks, Cosmos’ call centre and key
reseller agencies across the country.
Broadband Professional, an unrivalled managed broadband service for operators,
agents and other travel companies, provides one of the highest levels of guaranteed
bandwidth in the industry, with a user contention ratio of 4:1 that enables data
transfer up to five times faster than standard ADSL service1.
Cosmos and Avro will benefit from faster connectivity, increased security and
reduced costs. Aditionally, Avro will also use ntl business (travel division)‘s
managed broadband service to create a private link from its reservation system to 20
of the flight-only company’s largest agency customers, speeding up sales for its
customers.
