American Airlines has commenced a new round-trip service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Juan, Puerto Rico, providing non-stop service into the Caribbean region, on December 20, 2003. With numerous daily flights from San Juan to St. Croix and St. Thomas, the new service makes traveling to America’s Caribbean from the West Coast easier than everAmerican Airlines will fly a Boeing 767, which can bring 212 passengers to the territory with each flight. Flight 238 departs LAX at 11:45 p.m. on Friday nights and arrives in San Juan at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Flight 239 departs San Juan at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday nights and arrives in LAX at 3:44 p.m. on Sunday afternoons.
