Wayport to Provide High-Speed Net at the Roosevelt Hotel

Wayport today announced that it will provide high-speed Internet service for guests of The Roosevelt Hotel,
an Interstate Hotels and Resorts property in New York City.
“Wayport’s service is yet another high-quality amenity we offer our discriminating guests, and it nicely accents our recent multimillion-dollar renovation,” said David Bird, General Manager of The Roosevelt Hotel. “Wayport’s industry leadership in technology, customer care, and sales and marketing support to help drive incremental business travel and meeting revenue to our properties were important factors for us in choosing a high-speed Internet access provider.”

Wayport will provide high-speed wired service in The Roosevelt’s guestrooms and meeting rooms, as well as Wi-Fi wireless access throughout the property’s common areas. Installation was completed September 5.

“The Roosevelt is the latest addition to Wayport’s nationwide collection of first-class hotels that serve business travelers,” said Steve Fulford, vice president of strategic business development for Wayport. “Wayport’s comprehensive solution will give this historic property another competitive advantage by offering the complete high-speed Internet access service that has become a must-have for today’s traveler.”

Guests at The Roosevelt will benefit from Wayport’s high-speed wired and Wi-Fi wireless Internet access, which will allow them to stay connected and productive while traveling, with reliable high-speed access up to 50 times faster than standard dial-up to corporate and Web-based email, the Internet and their corporate networks.
