Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires has again been recognized for excellence by the readers of Cond̩ Nast Traveler in the magazine`s 2002 Readers` Choice Spa Poll. The health resort was voted Best Spa for the fifth time. The Cond̩ Nast Traveler 2002 Readers` Choice Spa Poll will appear in the magazine`s April issue, on newsstands March 26.

In addition to taking the top award, Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires also ranked number one for its programs, facilities and treatments.
“The Best Spa award is a reflection of the superb job done by Canyon Ranch`s more than 600 dedicated staff members, all of whom have contributed daily to our continued success,” said Carl Pratt, managing director of Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires.

Canyon Ranch now has the distinction of being an eight-time winner of the magazine`s Best Spa accolade. Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires, which opened in 1989, placed first in 1991, 1994, 1995, 1998, and now 2002. Canyon Ranch’s sister health resort in Tucson, Arizona won in 1990, 1992 and 1997.
