With several major upgrades, significant terrain expansions and La Niña promising to bring a snowier season than usual, British Columbia is set to deliver another sensational winter across its 13 major ski resorts. NEW Winter Activities and Events

Winter sports features for the first time at Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025
The Invictus Games are set to take place in Vancouver and Whistler from 8-16 February 2025, bringing together over 500 competitors from over 20 nations to compete in adaptive sports. Winter sports will be featured for the first time ever and include Alpine skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing and biathlon, skeleton, and wheelchair curling, in addition to the core Invictus Games sports of indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball, which will be held in Vancouver. Note: Whistler is open to everyone during the Games. The resort will remain open and operational, with minimal terrain impacts on Whistler Blackcomb.

Significant new fixed-grip quad and terrain expansion at Whitewater Ski Resort
Whitewater offers even more skiing adventures this season by unlocking 60 new acres of terrain. This further enhances their range of challenging steeps and gladded trees for both skiers and riders. Introducing a Free Shuttle Bus from and to Rossland to increase access to RED Mountain
RED Mountain has revamped their ski bus experience in time for the 2023/2024 season. This improved experience will provide free transport up to 44 passengers to and from Rossland seven days a week. This route will see an additional 14 stops which is perfect for spending the day on the slopes and exploring this charming mountain town’s delicious restaurants and historic downtown in an environmentally-friendly way. A brand-new, high-speed detachable quad chairlift will open at Sun Peaks Resort this season

Panorama Mountain Resort continues to improve the ski and snowboard experience this season.
Panorama’s latest phase in their multi-year upgrade and resort expansion project is underway. Once completed, the investments will include significant terrain expansion, a new chairlift and dedicated beginner zone, transformed dining options, a second Monster X passenger Cat, technology improvements and a major hotel redesign, and there’s more to come this season.
