Avis opens new gateway for London
Leading global car hire company, Avis UK, today announces the opening of its new flagship branch at Westfield shopping centre in West London. The opening marks Avis’ 15th London branch and is set to act as a gateway for customers looking to escape the capital, due to its easy access to the M3, M4 and M40, as well as Shepherd’s Bush, Wood Lane and White City tube stations, and Shepherd’s Bush train station.
Avis’ Westfield branch, based in the 43-acre shopping complex in Shepherd’s Bush, will serve customers from across West London as well as those travelling from Central London by taxi or tube. It will offer customers a more convenient car hire solution, as those wanting to escape the capital for the weekend can now do so without having to drive through the busy city streets.
Nick Mountfield, Head of Marketing at Avis UK, said of the opening, “We’re really excited about the opening of our new Avis branch at Westfield. Not only is it Europe’s largest shopping centre, its location is ideal for those looking to escape London for a weekend getaway via the M3 to the South Coast, the M4 to the West Country and Wales or the M40 for the Cotswolds and beyond.”
Avis has also recently launched its nationwide Home Delivery service across London, enabling customers in the capital to have their hire car delivered to and collected from their home address. For just £10 each way, customers have access to even more convenient car hire – ideal for those who don’t have time to pick up their hire car, particularly when there isn’t a station nearby to them.
