Avis awarded supplier excellence distiction by the Canadian Bar Association

Representatives from Avis were presented with a plaque celebrating the Company’s dedication and commitment to supplying a consistently outstanding rental experience to CBA’s members for nearly 15 years.

“Avis has provided outstanding service to CBA members and has consistently fulfilled the needs of the CBA,” said John Hoyles, CEO of the Canadian Bar Association. “It is a pleasure to work with the Avis team, and we are honoured to recognize them as an unwavering partner.”

“Providing customers with quality products and a superior rental experience is our top priority,” said Stephen Wright, vice president of global travel and partnership for Avis Budget Group, parent company of Avis. “We thank the Canadian Bar Association for their continued loyalty and for this distinguished honor, and look forward to fulfilling their car rental needs for years to come.”

Avis is committed to enhancing the rental experience for its customers and is a leader in offering time-saving solutions that make travel easier, such as Avis Preferred, the Company’s counter-bypass program, and the Avis iPhone mobile application that allows travelers to make, check or change reservations from anywhere. In addition, Avis utilizes feedback systems such as Voice-of-the-Customer surveys that are aggregated and delivered to field location managers in real-time to enable immediate response to customer suggestions. This customer feedback led the Company to become the first in the industry to offer a 100 percent smoke-free fleet.

The Canadian Bar Association is dedicated to supporting the rule of law, protecting the core values of the legal profession and improving the administration of justice, in Canada and around the world. Comprised of a National office, plus a Branch in each province and territory, the CBA enhances the professional influence of lawyers by providing a platform to showcase talents through participation in legislative and legal reform. The CBA’s leadership role also serves the business interests of lawyers through the delivery of accredited Professional Development programs, and by its ability to advocate on the behalf of the legal profession. Approximately 38,000 lawyers, law teachers and law students from across Canada are members.
