Car rental comparator site ArgusRentals.com is today celebrating being named
Best Car Hire Website 2009 at the Travolution Awards ceremony in London.

The annual awards, which took place last night in The Dorchester hotel, are judged by an independent panel of travel industry experts and celebrate the achievements of the industry through recognising innovation and outstanding strategy.

Facing tough competition from the likes of holidayautos.com, carrentals.co.uk, auto-europe.co.uk, budget.co.uk and usrentacar.co.uk, judges say they were won over by ArgusRentals.com’s “quick-click search and booking process, excellent clarity of deals and vehicle details and extremely solid design.”

In a double coup for the Dublin-based travel company, Argus Rentals was joined on stage by sister company CarTrawler, the booking engine technology behind the Argus brand, who picked up an award for Best Technology Provider.
