ATM is always an event for airlines to showcase their latest offerings, especially their premier class seats and suites.  For airlines participating at at ATM 2025 their first-lass suites will most likely take centre stage on the - so, how will they compare with what is already flying high?

Breaking Travel News aviation correspondent Phil Blizzard provides a snapshot of the first-class suites offered bay the top 10 airlines based on the 2024 World Airline Awards by Skytrax:
1. Singapore Airlines
Known for its exceptional service, Singapore Airlines offers luxurious Suites Class seats that transform into fully flat beds. Enjoy gourmet meals, fine wines, and personalized entertainment.

2. Air France
Air France’s La Première class offers spacious suites with sliding doors, gourmet cuisine, and exceptional service. Their CDG lounge is also renowned for its fine dining.

3. Emirates
Emirates: Iconic private suites with sliding doors, gourmet meals, and personalized entertainment, along with access to onboard showers and luxurious amenities.

4. Swiss International Air Lines

5. ANA All Nippon Airways
ANA’s First Class offers luxurious suites with personalized service, gourmet meals, and fine wines. Enjoy access to exclusive lounges and amenities

6. Lufthansa
Lufthansa’s First Class offers luxurious seats, gourmet meals, and exceptional service. Their Frankfurt lounge is also a highlight, offering fine dining and comfortable seating.

7. Japan Airlines
Japan Airlines’ First Class offers luxurious seats, gourmet meals, and exceptional service. Enjoy access to exclusive lounges and amenities.

8. Saudia
Saudia’s First Class offers luxurious amenities, including spacious seats and fine dining.

9. Cathay Pacific Airways
Cathay Pacific’s First Class offers luxurious seats, gourmet meals, and exceptional service. Enjoy access to exclusive lounges and amenities.

10. Etihad Airways
Etihad’s First Class offers luxurious apartments with personalized service, gourmet meals, and fine wines. Enjoy access to exclusive lounges and amenities. Plus the uber luxurious Apartment Suite which,  in terms of size, is way above their 1st Class offering.

These rankings are based on passenger reviews and feedback, highlighting the airlines that excel in providing exceptional first-class experiences . Boarding an aircraft and turning left or in the case of boarding an A380,  climbing to the upper deck, invokes that unique and appealing quality - a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ !
