White Lodging is pleased to announce that Andrew Zinni has been promoted to General Manager of the Marriott Austin South in Austin, Texas.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to lead the team at the Marriott Austin South,” Zinni said. “I hope to add value to all the key stakeholders of this beautiful hotel.”

Previously, Zinni served as the Director of Food and Beverage at Louisville Marriott Downtown in Louisville, KY. Prior to joining White Lodging in 2011, Andy was the general manager of the Pelican Yacht Club in Fort Pierce, Florida, a 346-member private equity club.

Zinni has also held positions with Marriott International, Adam’s Mark Hotels and Resorts, and Benchmark Hospitality.

“I am very pleased to see Andy’s assimilation to White Lodging,” said Regional Vice President John Randall.  “In addition to his operating results in Food and Beverage in 2011 and year to date in 2012, Andy’s guest satisfaction results are amongst the best in the Marriott Hotels and Resorts brand.”

He is looking forward to increasing guest and associate satisfaction and contributing to the White Lodging portfolio in Austin. Personally, he’s also looking forward to heading to Austin.
