National Ferries Company, Oman, launches new Daba service

National Ferries Company, Oman, has launched a new service to Daba Port.

The amphibious ship Al Halaniyat left Shinas Port earlier carrying foodstuff and equipment, marking the launch of the new route.

There will now be four weekly services to Daba from Shinas Port.

The launch of the service comes following royal orders from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos requesting the setting up of projects in the governorate of Musandam and its wilayats.

Al Halaniyat will contribute in raising economic and trade movements between the wilayat of Daba and the rest of the country.

National Ferries Company recently won the Middle East’s Responsible Tourism Award at the World Travel Awards.
