Air Charter Travel, the UK-headquartered leading air charter broker was integral in supporting this year’s EIBTM, the Global Meetings and Events exhibition, held in Barcelona 29 November to 1st December. On Wednesday 30th November, early morning saw a group of over 125 senior MICE buyers check in at London Gatwick and head to Barcelona aboard a Thomas Cook Boeing 757. With the UK national strike anticipated to cause chaos the value of a privately chartered flight was confirmed as buyers were flown without a glitch to the annual conference.

On the branded aircraft the passengers were treated to a more traditional schedule service with complimentary bucks fizz and a full English breakfast. This was a highlight for many and kept them going until well into the afternoon.
