Air Arabia Abu Dhabi adds Aleppo to its growing network in Syria
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first budget airline, today announced the launch of non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi and the city of Aleppo, Syria.
Starting 7 July 2026, the airline will operate three weekly flights connecting Zayed International Airport (AUH) with Aleppo International Airport (ALP), further expanding connectivity between the UAE and Syria and offering passengers a convenient and affordable travel option.
Additionally, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi currently serves Damascus with four weekly flights, which will be increased to daily services effective 1 July 2026.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia, said: “The launch of our new service to Aleppo and the increased frequency to Damascus reaffirm Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and offering greater travel convenience and value to our customers. These expanded services reflect the growing demand for travel between the UAE and Syria and underscore our continued efforts to support business, tourism and cultural ties between the two countries”.
Earlier this month, Air Arabia also announced the resumption of nonstop flights to Aleppo from Sharjah International Airport. With non-stop services to both Damascus and Aleppo from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, the carrier continues to strengthen air connectivity between the UAE and Syria, offering passengers greater convenience and travel options.
