American Airlines continues to grow its services from London Heathrow by adding a second daily frequency to Charlotte Douglas International Airport beginning September 14th.

The additional service is available for booking beginning July 6th and will be operated by US Airways with an Airbus A330-200 aircraft featuring fully lie-flat seats in the Business Class cabin. 

This service complements existing flight US 731 departing LHR at 10:05 and arriving in CLT at 14:00, while flight US 730 departs CLT at 18:55 arriving in LHR at 07:50 the following day.

American currently has almost 700 daily departures from Charlotte to over 140 destinations and American operates up to 17 daily flights from London Heathrow to Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Raleigh Durham in addition to other UK services from Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh plus flights from Dublin and Shannon in Ireland.
