4mediarelations have been selected as the official broadcast partner for World Travel Market.

The leading global event for the travel industry, the four day event will run from November 5th to the 8th at ExCel London, and provides an opportunity for the travel industry to meet, network and conduct business all under one roof.

It is the first time in eight years that WTM have taken on a new broadcast agency and 4mediarelations won the account after a competitive pitch.

WTM campaign director, Darren Ryan from 4mediarelations said: “We are extremely pleased to be selected as the official broadcast supplier for WTM 2012.

“This year, there’s a great opportunity to do things differently.  Working alongside the team at WTM our ultimate goal is to maximise the radio broadcast opportunities that exist for all exhibitors during the four day event.”

World Travel Market is now in its 33rd year and almost 48,000 senior travel industry professionals, government ministers and international press are expected to meet at the ExCel to discover and discuss the latest industry trends.

4media will be installing an ISDN studio on site during the whole four day event where they will be facilitating live and pre-record broadcast interviews.

Exhibitors will be able to link up with broadcast journalists while PR agencies for travel companies will be able to arrange high quality radio interviews with the media there and then.

4media are also organising radio days with participants in advance of the event.

Reed Travel Exhibitions chairman, World Travel Market Fiona Jeffery said: “We selected 4media as our official broadcast partner mainly because of their enthusiasm and knowledge of the industry.

“I really feel their flexibility and support will ensure WTM Exhibitors truly get the most out of WTM 2012.

“We look forward to working with 4mediarelations over the next few months and hope for a successful and fruitful partnership.”
