Tod Lockard joins the Mantic Point team

Itinerary management solutions provider, Mantic Point, has announced the appointment of Tod Lockard who will head the next phase of Mantic Point’s growth story.  Tod joins the team having worked in the travel technology sector for almost twenty years in various senior positions, in addition to working within blue-chip organisations at Vice President and Director level, including American Express and HSBC.

With Mantic Point recording record year-on-year sales for 2012/2013, Tod’s remit is to further increase the adoption of Mantic Point’s itinerary management platform with travel management and travel agency clients across the globe. 

Commenting on the appointment of Tod Lockard, Mike Atherton, Mantic Point’s CEO said: “It’s great to welcome Tod Lockard to Mantic Point. Tod is extremely well known in the travel technology sector, having worked with a number of competing operators as well as travel firms such as Carlson Companies and Delta Airlines.  He will be instrumental in driving forward adoption of our multi-channel itinerary management platform, and further increasing our market share in this space.”

Prior to joining Mantic Point, Tod was VP Sales, Customers and Chief Marketing Officer at conTgo.  He also held the position of General Manager for HSBC Technology and Services for three years and was Vice President EMEA at American Express where he spent two years implementing and leading a client-facing transformation programme across EMEA.  In addition to this, Tod held senior positions in travel tech firms including Sabre and GetThere.
