Unveiling significant renovations throughout, the updates are part of larger enhancement program throughout the Sandals Resorts International portfolio, which will take the resort company’s ‘Luxury Included’ concept to new heights.

Sandals Grande Ocho Rios Beach & Villa Golf Resort

Sandals Grande Ocho Rios is grandly set on over a hundred pristine acres of lush rolling hillside and tropical gardens on the beautiful North Coast of Jamaica.

Starting in December 2010, guests will get to enjoy the $25 million development project that is taking place featuring a myriad of new amenities throughout Sandals Grande Ocho Rios including 14 culinary options.

These include the addition of Soy, a brand-new sushi bar; Dino’s Pizzeria, serving up gourmet, made-to-order brick-oven pizzas; Kimonos, a teppanyaki-style restaurant; Neptune’s, serving Mediterranean classics right on the beach; Le Jardinier, a French bistro; Mario’s, a classic southern Italian restaurant; and Gordon’s, a fine dining Caribbean restaurant set on the resort’s extensive pier.

Relaxation is paramount at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios with an upgraded and renovated pool area including increased deck space for lounging and the addition of a new Jacuzzi.

Extra cabanas will also be added to the manor pool, complete with the service of a personal butler for guests in select suites. Cabanas are equipped with a serene music system, drapes for privacy and flat-screen televisions.

Sandals Grande Ocho Rios will also unveil a brand new boardwalk lounge at its Beach Club, complete with stylish outdoor furniture and a chic-vibe.

Flanked by the Caribbean Sea, the boardwalk area will feature a series of romantic fire pits, as well as an upgraded observation deck on the pier, perfect for couples to appreciate the exquisite views.

For guests who prefer to spend their time at the beach, additional cabanas will also be added to the Beach Club, with full butler service for guests in select suites providing fresh fruits, drinks and fulfilling all requests.

After exploring the resort grounds, guests can retreat to their newly remodelled accommodations.  All suites within the resort’s exclusive Ciboney Villas, found tucked into the lush mountainside, will now enjoy 24-hour room service.

To complete the renovations within the Ciboney Villas, the private pools which adorn many of the suites will also be updated and include new patio furniture, perfecting the secluded hideaways.

Rooms and suites within both the Ciboney Villas and Caribbean Riviera sides of the resort will also receive new soft furnishings, mahogany furniture, upgraded bathroom fixtures, iPod docking stations and plasma TVs.

Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa

Following recently recognition by the World Travel Awards as Jamaica’s Leading Resort, Sandals is marking the fifth anniversary of the opening of Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa by unveiling a $10 million upgrade to the resort.

Gordon “Butch” Stewart, founder and chairman of Sandals, said: “Sandals Whitehouse will always be special to me. It was our first new build in Jamaica and now five years later and following a detailed refreshing, this resort continues to impress, epitomising Sandals’ Luxury Included standard.”

Set on 50 acres of lush tropical foliage in the untouched Westmoreland region of Jamaica, Sandals Whitehouse offers exclusive European opulence set amongst a Caribbean backdrop.

Comprising three unique villages – Italian, French and Dutch – each distinct area offers its own architectural detail, pristine manicured gardens and private pool.

Adding on to the resort’s award-winning experience, the property has undergone several upgrades over the past year, including renovations to all resort restaurants, the main lobby area and treatment rooms at the resort’s exclusive Red Lane Spa.

In addition, the top two categories of suites – the One Bedroom Penthouse Honeymoon Beachfront Suite and the One Bedroom Walkout Honeymoon Beachfront Suite – have been completely refurbished with updated furniture, upgraded soft goods and new plasma TVs, offering an even finer retreat for resort guests.

It’s lush tropical setting surprises guests with its unexpected yet sophisticated European elegance characterized by classical architecture and a wide central piazza, reminiscent of European-style squares and made complete with duty-free shops, formal gardens, places to dine and be entertained and, but of course, a romantic café.

Beaches Boscobel Resort & Golf Club

With $14 million in upgrades invested in the 223-room resort, guests will be treated to expanded restaurants, brand-new entertainment areas and updated guest rooms and suites.

Perhaps the most visible change for returning guests is Beaches Boscobel’s main pool area which welcomes extensive developments including expanded pool decks, additional pool-side lounge areas and an upgraded observation deck ideal for wedding ceremonies and private dining.

The resort’s main stage will also be expanded and updated with the latest technology equipment, making an even bigger splash during the popular Sesame Street shows and interactive stage productions.
