Bolivian minister of tourism and culture, Marko Machicao, is in London this week as the destination seeks to reposition itself as the cultural, culinary and adventure destination of choice for British travellers to Latin America.

In an exclusive interview with Breaking Travel News, Machicao reveals how Bolivia is investing over £400 million in tourism infrastructure, advertising and technology to grow the country into a regional powerhouse.

Also on the agenda is the country’s development under president Evo Morales, and plans for a new aviation hub in the centre of Latin America.
