Two British females have been attacked on the east African island of Zanzibar, according to reports. The 18-year-old women, who are believed to be charity workers, had acid thrown on their faces, chests and hands as they walked in Stone Town.

Minister Jihad Abdillah Hassan, the Zanzibar Tanzania Minister responsible for Information, Culture, Tourism and Sports, and Mr. Ali Khalil Mirza, his Director General of the Zanzibar Commission for Tourism, met at a working breakfast with Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, and Mrs. Maryvonne Pool, the Seychelles Consul&Tourism Ambassador in Tanzania, when Mr. St.Ange was in Dar Es Salaam last week for a working visit.
