Qatar Executive Adds Two Additional Gulfstream G700 to its Fleet
Qatar Executive (QE), the luxury private jet charter division of Qatar Airways Group, is proud to announce that it has taken delivery of two additional Gulfstream G700 aircraft, taking its total fleet size to 24. The two additional aircraft will increase the total number of Gulfstream G700 in QE’s fleet to six, with an additional four G700s scheduled for delivery throughout 2025 and early 2026. QE’s fleet also includes 15 Gulfstream G650ER aircraft.

Alaska Airlines announces new flights to Anchorage from Detroit and Sacramento
For the first time this summer, Alaska Airlines is connecting Anchorage to both Detroit and Sacramento with seasonal nonstop flights, as well as resuming nonstop service between Fairbanks and Portland. Weekly, roundtrip flights to and from Detroit and Sacramento begin on June 14, 2025 – which adds up to 15 nonstop destinations between Anchorage and the Lower 48 and Hawaii, the most we’ve ever served in the summer. Hamad International Airport Reports Record-Breaking Year in 2024
Hamad International Airport (DOH) achieved significant milestones in 2024, serving 52.7 million passengers, a 15% increase compared to the previous year. The airport continues to strengthen its role as a key global hub for airlines and passengers. Aircraft movements also rose to 279,000, marking an 10% year-on-year increase, while a total of 2.6 million tonnes of cargo handled, a rise of 12% compared to the previous year. Additionally, the airport managed 41.3 million bags, reflecting a 10% increase in baggage handling efficiency.
Air Canada to Operate from JFK Terminal 6 in 2026
JFK Millennium Partners (JMP), the company selected by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to build and operate John F. Kennedy International Airport’s new world-class Terminal 6 (T6), and Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline and a Skytrax Four-Star rated carrier, today announced that Air Canada will operate from T6 when it opens to passengers in 2026, joining fellow Star Alliance partners Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and ANA as future T6 airlines.
Air Astana to add new route from Frankfurt
Air Astana is to increase its presence in Germany by adding a new route between Almaty and Frankfurt. The Kazakhstan-based carrier will launch the Almaty-Frankfurt route on 1 June, which will operate three times per week using Airbus A321LR aircraft.
