Libano Barroso Confirmed as President of TAM
The Board of Directors of TAM S.A. (NYSE:TAM) (NYSE:and) (NYSE:Bovespa:) (NYSE:TAMM4) has recently confirmed, the executive Libano Miranda Barroso as Director President of TAM S.A. and TAM Linhas Aereas. Barroso had previously earned the titles of interim president as well as Vice President of Finance, Management and IT since the departure of Commander David Barioni Neto on October 9 of this year.

Outside group to manage TAM
TAM has signed an agreement with Brazilian investment company BTG under which BTG will take control of the airline with the goal of developing the business and boosting its share price.
Air Canada and TAM extend deal
Air Canada and Brazil’s TAM have signed a bilateral agreement that will allow members of Air Canada’s Aeroplan or TAM’s Fidelidade programs to earn and redeem frequent flyer Miles/points on flights operated by either company.
