South Western Railway publishes strike timetable
South Western Railway has published its weekday strike timetable, providing customers with details of the services they can expect during the RMT industrial action in December.
Passenger forum to take place at Waterloo Station
Passengers are invited to join a cross section of managers from the South West Trains – Network Rail Alliance for the third passenger forum at the UK’s busiest station, London Waterloo on Tuesday 20 May.
First 10-car trains to run between London Waterloo and Windsor
South West Trains has started running the first ever 10-car regular passenger trains between Windsor and Waterloo. The 10-car service left London Waterloo at 05:58 this morning and returns from Windsor at 07:23. It will now be used to operate 14 different train services between London Waterloo and Windsor every weekday, offering an extra 28 carriages per day on this route.
Safety and assurance director appointed at South West Trains
Sharon Vye Parminter has been appointed to become the third female Director of the South West Trains – Network Rail Alliance. Sharon, who joins from First Great Western, brings with her 19 years of experience that includes delivering a safe railway for passengers in various routes in the country, including First Capital Connect, Intercity and Regional train operators and most recently at First Great Western.

The South West Trains – Network Rail Alliance launched today the search for five new young talents to join its unique apprentice scheme, as part of the sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week.
Further boost for passengers as Southwest Trains secures additional carriages
South West Trains passengers are set to benefit from a further boost to their service as part of an investment announced by the train operator and the Department for Transport (DfT).
