Etihad Airways is the first commercial airline to offer in its new Airbus A380 an extra-large private VIP suite dubbed ‘The Residence’ along with nine First Class Apartments. The Residence Experience will include dedicated Butlers on call throughout the flight, offering the type of discrete personal service and attention to detail found in the world’s most exclusive hotels.

The highly-anticipated re-opening of London’s landmark Savoy Hotel, which is already running 11 months behind schedule, has been delayed a further three months due to spiralling refurbishment costs. The hotel will now not open till late summer as the budget doubles to £200 million.
