Royal Air Maroc welcomes first Boeing Dreamliner to fleet
Boeing and Royal Air Maroc have celebrated the arrival into Morocco of its first 787 Dreamliner. The airline will be the first carrier in the Mediterranean region to operate the 787. The airplane flew a 4,788 nautical mile non-stop flight to Royal Air Maroc’s home base in Casablanca at Mohammed V International Airport.

Royal Air Maroc adds Embraer E190 to fleet
Royal Air Maroc, the national carrier of Morocco, has decided to introduce the E190 as part of a fleet upgrade to open new routes and to increase the number of short and medium-haul frequencies from its Casablanca International Airport hub in Morocco. The airline has signed a lease agreement for four E-Jets with Aldus Aviation, the Irish specialist E-Jet lessor.

ATR, the European manufacturer of turboprop aircraft, and the national Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc have announced the signature of a Global Maintenance Agreement for the airline’s new fleet of ATR ‘-600’ aircraft. Signed for an initial period of four years, the contract covers the four ATR 72-600s already owned by the airline.
