RBS places £5 billion jet order

RBS Aviation Capital, the plane leasing subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland, has placed orders with Boeing and Airbus worth £5 billion at the Farnborough Airshow. Many of the narrow-body A320s and 737s will be leased to carriers across Asia, the Middle East and South America.
RBS to sell aircraft leasing business
Royal Bank of Scotland is expected to put its aircraft leasing business RBS Aviation Capital up for sale as it undertakes a radical overhaul of all its operations. The aircraft leasing arm is one of the largest in the world, and has offices in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Dubai.
