RAK Airways expands route network
UAE’s RAK Airways expanded its route network with the launch of two new services this week. The carrier, which now operates 11 routes, has revealed ambitious plans to reach 40 destinations by 2015.
RAK Airways eyes 40 new destinations by 2015
RAK Airways has announced its strategic plan towards commercial expansion and acquiring new aircraft. RAK president Murabit Al Sawaf said the expansion plan is part of the airline’s endeavours to achieve the target of 40 destinations by 2015, of which five destinations will be announced shortly.

Travelport enhances partnership with RAK Airways
Travelport and RAK Airways, one of the flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates, have announced an enhanced new partnership to benefit Galileo and Worldspan-connected travel agents around the world. Building on the participation agreement signed at the end of last year, RAK Airways has upgraded its contract with the GDS operator to a global Full Content Agreement giving Travelport customers full access to the carrier’s inventory of flights and fares.
RAK Airways increases its frequency to Calicut to daily flights

UAE-based carrier RAK Airways will be expanding its route network to Bangladesh. Effective December 15, the airline will offer thrice-weekly flights to Dhaka and Chittagong respectively, according to a report in Travel Daily India.
