Qatar Airways has signed an interline partnership with Vietnam-based Vietjet Air, an agreement which will allow the Qatari carrier’s passengers to travel to and from points in Vietnam using a single reservation across both airlines’ networks.

Qatar places latest $2.2bn order with Boeing
Boeing and Qatar Airways announced an order today for two 747-8 Freighters and four 777-300ERs (Extended Range), valued at $2.16 billion at list prices. The airline also received the first of its 747-8 Freighters at a delivery ceremony attended by Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways chief executive and Boeing Commercial Airplanes president Kevin McAllister.
