Pullman and Sofitel join Travelport’s ‘Lowest Public Rate’ hotel programme
Travelport has added two new participants to its Lowest Public Rate Programme that guarantees agents access to the lowest publicly available rate. Both Pullman and Sofitel Hotels are part of the Accor Hotel Group and bring more than 190 hotel properties to the programme.
Accor opens first Pullman Hotel in the UK
Hotel operator Accor is expanding its brand portfolio in the UK with the opening its first Pullman branded property in London this month following a complete refurbishment. The 312-room property features panoramic views of the London skyline, and a restaurant and bar named Golden Arrow, plus meetings facilities.
China takes lead in Pullman development
Upscale hotel brand Pullman has announced the opening of Pullman Anshan Time Square, in downtown Anshan. Located in the city dubbed the ‘Capital of Iron and Steel’, the opening means China is now the largest country market in the Pullman network.

Pullman adds two new addresses to its European network
At the start of the year, Pullman added two new establishments to its European network: the Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne in the Netherlands and the Pullman Munich in Germany. Pullman Paris Rive Gauche sold for €77 Million
Accor has announced the sale of the Pullman Paris Rive Gauche (617 rooms) to Bouygues Immobilier for €77 million, in line with its asset-right strategy. The hotel, whose operating performance and technical standards fall below Group requirements, will shut down in 2012. The contract also includes an earn-out mechanism, whose amount will depend on the terms and conditions of the reconstruction project.

Pullman Resorts opens in Lijiang Lijiang
Pullman has announced the official opening of Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa in China’s south-western Yunnan Province. Consisting of 79 villas and 51 deluxe rooms, the new property in Lijiang, a city which is often dubbed as China’s “Forgotten Kingdom,” is Pullman’s fourth resort in the country.
