Porter Airlines is expanding its services from Hamilton with the introduction of daily flights to Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, and Vancouver, beginning in June 2025. This expansion coincides with upgrades to John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, including modernized facilities and expanded services. The flights will be operated on the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, offering a unique onboard experience with complimentary amenities and flexible fare options like PorterReserve and PorterClassic. The launch of these routes is expected to enhance travel connectivity across Canada and strengthen Hamilton’s position within the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area’s airport network.

Porter Airlines is enhancing its New York service with two additional daily flights and a more convenient schedule. This increases daily roundtrip departures between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport to as many as 13 flights, and provides a wider range of morning, afternoon and evening departures for passengers.

Porter Airlines posted record passenger numbers for 2011, including a December load factor of 63.9 per cent, 1.5 points higher than the previous year. Over 2.1 million passengers travelled with Porter during the year, which is another record compared to 1.56 million in 2010.

Porter Airlines reported its best July load factor in history at 66.8 per cent.  This is 4.8 points better than the previous year.  Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) also set a new record for the third consecutive month.
