New Director of the US Office of Travel and Tourism Industries
Ms. Isabel M. Hill has been selected as the new director of the Office of Travel and Tourism Industries (OTTI) in the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce. She previously served as OTTI’s deputy director for policy and planning.
US international visitation up by 14% in March 2012
The U.S. Department of Commerce today announced that 5.4 million international visitors traveled to the United States in March 2012, a 14 percent increase over March 2011. March 2012 registered the 12th straight month of increases in total U.S. visits.
