Hilton Worldwide announced plans to introduce two new brands to the French market with the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton Val d’Europe on the doorstep of Disneyland Paris. The opening of what will become the company’s first dual-branded property in France, and the first dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton for Europe, is scheduled for 2015.

The Rezidor Hotel Group has opened the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nantes directed by general manager Cyril Casabo. The company’s youngest French flagship is housed in the former Court of Justice – an elegant building that was constructed in 1851 and served as the Nantes Law Court until 2000.

Hyatt Hotels has announced a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Grande Asset Hotels and Property Public Company, a Bangkok-based real estate development company, for Hyatt Regency Bangkok, Sukhumvit. Expected to open in 2017, the hotel will be the first Hyatt Regency-branded hotel in Bangkok, and will join the already open Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok.

Marriott International’s Autograph Collection is continuing its global growth with the opening of its first property in Asia Pacific. The newly opened, The Stones Legian, Bali, in Indonesia, represents the debut of Autograph Collection in the region.

Sandals Resorts International has announced the purchase of LaSource Resort in Grenada for an undisclosed sum. The agreement to acquire the resort was successfully reached after on-going discussions with the government of Grenada and represents the brand’s first property in this eastern Caribbean country.

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the signing of the first EVEN Hotels property which will be located in New York City, with ownership group CWC. The IHG-managed hotel will be located at 219E 44th Street in the heart of midtown Manhattan, and will be a flagship property for the brand.
