Global stars take centre stage at ITB Berlin
Although cited as the most important event on the international travel and tourism calendar, ITB Berlin is not just about business - with a host of stars adding a touch of glamour to proceedings. Global business leaders head to the annual event to celebrate their achievements over the last 12-months, taking in the very best this industry has to offer. Miss World cheers on South Africa at ITB
The travel industry showed off its glamourous side when reigning Miss World visited ITB Berlin 2010. The Gibraltarian beauty, who won the prestigious beauty contest in Johannesburg in December, dropped by the South Africa stand to catch up with friends and give the nation a final cheer ahead of FIFA 2010.
And Miss World 2009 is… Gibraltar
Mexico is first runner up, followed by South Africa, second runner up.
Miss World finalists wow WTM
World Travel Market was treated to a large sprinkling of glamour on day two as 120 finalists from Miss World beauty pageant made a special guest appearance to present a donation from the World Travel Awards to water aid charity Just a Drop.
Tension mounts ahead of World Travel Awards Grand Final
Antcipation within the travel industry is mounting ahead of Sunday night’s 2009 World Travel Awards Grand Final. The most spectacular final in the 16-year history of the Awards also has an extra special twist - it will feature ALL 120 Miss World 2009 contestants from the most prestigious of all international beauty pageants.
Miss World wows at Abu Dhabi F1
The reigning Miss World met participants and performers at the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix ahead of her appearance at the Grand Final of the World Travel Awards in London on Sunday. She will be joined by 120 Miss World contestants at the Awards, before flying back out to Abu Dhabi for a fashion show at the Yas Hotel.

World’s fastest man meets world’s most beautiful woman
The world’s fastest man took time out of his hectic training schedule to hook up with the world’s most beautiful woman at a glittering Jamaica National Day party ahead of the Beijing Olympics.Jamaican sprinter and current 100m World Record Holder, Usain Bolt, met reigning Miss World, Zi Lin Zhang of China, to celebrate Jamaica National Day. The body beautiful duo were out in force to celebrate the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica.
