Indian Railways has already started manufacturing of new generation 6000 Horse Power (HP) electric locomotives and Electrical Multiple Units (EMUs) with regenerative braking feature at Chittaranjan Locomotive Workshop (CLW) and Integral Coach Factory (ICF) respectively.
