Long-Haul Holidays on the Up as Kuoni Reports Strong Demand for 2025
From the Caribbean to the Far East and the Indian Ocean to South Africa, the January “peak season” has seen strong demand for long-haul holiday bookings for the year ahead with sales 14% ahead of last year, according to worldwide travel company Kuoni. It’s been one of the best January and early February sales periods since 2019, as people seek out long-haul winter sun, family adventures and multi-centre escapes.

Speaking at a press conference at ITB Berlin, the president of the European Travel Commission (ETC) explained how, under the label of Visit Europe, the EU is marketing itself to visitors from the USA, Asia and South America as a safe destination that has much to offer.
