London welcomes more visitors than ever before
London welcomed more international visitors than ever before in 2014, with the city’s cultural attractions and world class sporting events proving irresistible draws for millions, according to new figures released by the Office for National Statistics International Passenger Survey. The new figures show there were 17.4 million visits to the city in 2014 up 3.5 per cent from the previous record of 16.8million visits in 2013.

Mondrian London at Sea Containers has unveiled its boutique 56- seat screening room, featuring a state-of-the-art 4K digital projection and Dolby 7.1 surround sound. The location will play host to regular weekend-long collaborations with Curzon Cinemas. In line with the hotel’s stylish nautical theme, the intimate screening room is an artwork in itself, with 1970s inspired 3D wall sculpture, soft navy furnishings and authentic brass features salvaged from the original Sea Containers building.
