London mayor Sadiq Kahn has launched a new vision to accelerate the capital’s status as a world-class tourist destination. Tourism numbers in London are set to rise sharply, with more than 40 million people expected to visit the city annually by 2025, an increase of 30 per cent on the 31.2 million visitors who came to the capital in 2016.

A hidden bar has opened just off Fleet Street that is set to reclaim Ireland and the Scottish coastline as the true homeland of whiskey. With over 500 whiskies, Merchant House of Fleet Street abandons any preconceived ideas about whiskey, serving up fresh and floral cocktails in a light and contemporary space.

New Road Hotel will be opening its doors in Whitechapel, London, in quarter four of the year. Inspired by the increased popularity for social living and accessible luxury, the new concept hotel will be offering guests everything they need, and nothing they don’t.

Elvis on Tour, an exhibition focusing on the life of the King while on the road, will open in London at the 02 Arena on November 3rd. Following the success of 2014/2015 Elvis at the O2 exhibition, which was visited by over 200,000 people, Elvis on Tour - The Exhibition will showcase more than 200 artefacts from the Graceland archives many of which will be in the UK for the very first time.

Launching in early September, The Lampery will be a new all-day dining spot providing good, honest cooking in the heart of historic London. Inspired by a passion for authentic British cuisine and locally-sourced produce, the restaurant and cocktail bar will be located within Apex Hotel City of London on Seething Lane.
