KLM signs up with Amadeus for ancillary services
Amadeus has announced flagship carrier KLM has implemented Amadeus Ancillary Services in the Netherlands. Through AAS, KLM is now able to offer travel agencies the option to book Economy Comfort seats, expanding the access to its content of ancillary products and services.

KLM plans to operate flights powered by recycled cooking oil
Dutch flag carrier KLM has unveiled plans to use recycled cooking oil on 200 flights between Paris and Amsterdam. The planes will use biokerosene, a fuel derived from used frying oil, which has to be tested to meet the same technical specifications as traditional kerosene.

KLM agrees TAROM codeshare
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and the Romanian flag carrier TAROM are to begin codesharing from 1 of June 2009. The codeshare agreement applies to connecting flights between Amsterdam and Bucharest and vice versa.
