KLM plans to operate flights powered by recycled cooking oil
Dutch flag carrier KLM has unveiled plans to use recycled cooking oil on 200 flights between Paris and Amsterdam. The planes will use biokerosene, a fuel derived from used frying oil, which has to be tested to meet the same technical specifications as traditional kerosene.
KLM returns to Rio after 12-years

KLM agrees TAROM codeshare
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and the Romanian flag carrier TAROM are to begin codesharing from 1 of June 2009. The codeshare agreement applies to connecting flights between Amsterdam and Bucharest and vice versa.
KLM confirms deal with Daniel Green
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has started a culinary collaboration with television chef Daniel Green, who has designed meals for passengers travelling in KLM’s Economy Class from the United States. Chef Green is widely known for his focus on healthy eating.
Northwest and KLM axe three services
The conveyor belt of route reductions continues today with Northwest Airlines and its trans-Atlantic joint venture partner KLM announcing suspension of three services from 1 October - termination of flights between Detroit-Dusseldorf and Hartford-Amsterdam, and seasonal suspension of Minneapolis/St. Paul-Paris.
