IATA appoints new global head of cargo
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced the appointment, effective from June 9, of Glyn Hughes as the Association’s next Global Head of Cargo.

IATA AGM 2014: Miami selected as host for 2015 AGM
The International Air Transport Association has announced that American Airlines, FedEx Express and UPS will host the 71st IATA Annual General Meeting and World Air Transport Summit in conjunction with Airlines for America, the trade association for the US airline industry. The event will draw the top leadership from the air transport industry to Miami, Florida from June 7th-9th 2015.

IATA AGM 2014: Emir of Qatar greets global aviation leaders
The State of Qatar’s Emir and patron of this year’s 70th International Air Transport Association Annual General Meeting and World Air Transport Summit, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani today inaugurated the much-awaited global aviation conference in the capital Doha. The three-day conference being held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on June 1st-3rd, is being hosted by Qatar Airways and has gathered more than 1,000 aviation industry delegates, as well as 200 international media.
