Holland America Line commemorates 100th anniversary of Panama Canal
Six Holland America Line ships will sail 28 full and partial transits of the Panama Canal during the fall 2013 through spring 2014 season, which coincides with the canal’s 100th anniversary. Ranging in length from 10 to 22 days, the extensive itinerary options provide guests with more ways to experience the Panama Canal than any other cruise line.
Holland America Line to feature diverse Caribbean cruises in 2013-14
Itineraries up to 25 days, diverse ports of call and a rare mid-size ship experience highlight Holland America Line’s 2013-14 Caribbean season that features eight of the line’s premium vessels sailing round-trip from either Fort Lauderdale or Tampa, Fla. All Fort Lauderdale itineraries feature a call at Half Moon Cay, the line’s award-winning private Bahamian island known for its pristine beaches, exciting shore excursions, exclusive beach cabanas and kid-friendly activities.

Holland America Line and Seabourn celebrate partnership renewal
In recognition of Earth Day, Holland America Line and Seabourn today are announcing the renewal of their partnership with Marine Conservation Institute. The partnership with the Washington State–based organisation began in 2010 with the “Our Marvelous Oceans” program, and will continue with the signing of a new three-year agreement that runs through 2016
Holland America Line commemorates its 140th anniversary
In celebration of its 140th anniversary, an official christening of the new Holland America Line “Signature” tulip took place in the Netherlands on Friday, April 19 at the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens. President and CEO of Holland America Line Stein Kruse participated in the ceremony along with the President of the Board of Directors of Keukenhof Walter Jansen and Master Grower Jan Pennings.
Holland America Line’s ms Amsterdam on 113-day exploration for 2014 world tour
Holland America Line’s ms Amsterdam will depart Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on an epic 113-day round-trip journey around the world that will touch the shores of 38 ports across five continents. Rather than taking a traditional course, the Amsterdam will cross the equator four times on the 2014 Grand World Voyage and sail a route that deeply explores the Southern Hemisphere.

Holland America Line ‘s ms Oosterdam and ms Volendam will return to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific islands for the 2013-14 season with a series of sailings that will visit more than 50 ports of call.

Holland America Line recently completed the addition of the line’s casual Italian restaurant Canaletto and transformed the Lido Terrace into an enclosed Wintergarden aboard ms Prinsendam. Named for the famous 18th-century Venetian artist, the award-winning Canaletto is located in the Wintergarden, which is adjacent to the Lido dining area.

Holland America Line has just launched a sweepstakes on Facebook that will award one fan a seven-day “Summer 2013 Dream Cruise” for two in an ocean-view stateroom to Europe, Canada/New England or Alaska. The sweepstakes runs through Oct. 31, 2012, with the winner selected upon the close of the sweepstakes.
