USA Volleyball, Hilton HHonors renew sponsorship
USA Volleyball and Hilton HHonors, the loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide’s 10 distinct hotel brands, have announced their renewed sponsorship through the year of 2016. HHonors has been a sponsor of USA Volleyball since 2011. As part of the continued partnership, Hilton HHonors will continue to support the organization and offer benefits to USA Volleyball members.
Hilton Worldwide enters Macedonia
Hilton Worldwide’s expanding presence in South Eastern Europe will see it enter Macedonia with the signing of a franchise agreement with Ajdovan Ademoski to open the upscale DoubleTree by Hilton Skopje. The hotel is expected to open in early 2016 and joins further properties under development in the region in Croatia and Montenegro.
Hilton Abu Dhabi Capital Grand set for summer opening
Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of a new Hilton Hotels & Resorts branded hotel for Abu Dhabi, UAE. The hotel, currently known as Abu Dhabi Al Maqta, will re-brand and re-open as Hilton Abu Dhabi Capital Grand in summer 2013.
Hilton London Islington undergoes £5.2m rooms make over
Hilton London Islington today announced the £5.2 million refurbishment of its guest rooms, to be completed June 2013, with the addition of seven new bedrooms, bringing the total number to 191. The hotel, situated in the heart of fashionable Islington, has been inspired and influenced by its close proximity to the Square Mile. Each room displays subtle hints of London, with a sleek city style.

Hilton Worldwide reveals major growth in Middle East
Hilton Worldwide has revealed the extent of its growth across Middle East and Africa with the unveiling of figures showing a 440 per cent increase to its pipeline from 2007 to present day. Reinforcing the company’s position as the pre-eminent international hospitality company in the region, the data sets out the company’s pipeline expansion in 2007 from 13 hotels with 3,570 rooms to today’s figure of nearly 60 properties, representing nearly 20,000 rooms which are now in development across MEA.
