Hilton has announced the opening of Hilton Yantai, its second Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the northern coastal city of Yantai. Occupying levels one to six and levels 26 to 41 of the Shimao Skyscraper, a 323-meter tall building in the heart of the city, Hilton Yantai offers stunning city and sea views, and is surrounded by many historical attractions.

Located in Western China’s gateway city of Chengdu, the 289-room Waldorf Astoria Chengdu has opened to guests. The property is housed within the high-end 99 Plaza, a 190,000 square meter mixed-use development comprising a retail mall, office towers, and apartment towers.

Hilton Worldwide has reported adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter of 2017 of $519 million, an increase of ten per cent on the figure for the second quarter of 2016. Diluted earnings per share at the hotel giant from continuing operations for the period stood at $0.51.

Hilton has sought to further underline its commitment to being the world’s most innovative hotel company by launching Digital Key a handful of hotels across the UK. By the end of 2017, Hilton will roll out its industry-leading technology to 100 hotels in the UK - the largest implementation outside of the US - and to 2,500 hotels across the world.

Hilton has announced the opening of Grand Hotel Des Sablettes Plage, Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel was hand-picked to be a part of the collection of one-of-a-kind independent hotels and resorts all celebrated for their individuality.

Hilton today celebrated the grand opening of the first-ever Tru by Hilton - the company’s 5,000th hotel - at Tru by Hilton Oklahoma City Airport.
