Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Unveils 98-Night World Cruise for 2027
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled a new 98-night around the world adventure, setting sail from Southampton in January 2027. Guests aboard Borealis can look forward to a four-day stay in Hawaii, and visits to five Japanese ports, where calls have been carefully timed to avoid the peak tourist season and to coincide with the beauty of the late plum blossom.

The programme includes several standout sailings, such as Fred. Olsen’s three-ship Fleet Fiesta in Gran Canaria in December 2026, a Mystery Cruise, three festive Christmas and New Year sailings and the return of the line’s You Choose Your Cruise adventure. There will also be a 71-night Grand Voyage, encompassing a new Mediterranean fly-cruise programme, taking in Corsica, the Adriatic, Greece, the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast and more, while featuring new calls into the Italian ports of Messina, Siracusa and Savona, plus Lesvos and Samos in Greece.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has joined forces with television presenter Nick Knowles on a new YouTube collaboration, offering viewers a rare insight into the work of a busy dry dock programme. The cruise line’s smallest ship, Balmoral, entered the shipyard at A&P Falmouth on 1st December for a two-week programme of maintenance, including a complete refurbishment and rebrand of the ship’s buffet restaurant, removal and reapplication of anti-fouling paint to the hull to reduce fuel consumption, a technical refurbishment of The Neptune Lounge theatre, and installation of a new propeller.
