Flybe announces intention to float
Regional airline Flybe has confirmed it will seek a stock market flotation, with an approximate value of £60 million. The airline – which brands itself as the largest regional carrier in Europe – specialises in short-hop flights around the UK lasting less than an hour.
Flybe reports right royal wedding rush for extended bank holiday weekend
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline and the UK’s Number One Domestic carrier, reports that within minutes of the date of next year’s Royal Wedding and Bank Holiday being announced this week, there was an immediate rush for seats on all its 346 flights to and from the capital over the Royal Wedding weekend resulting in a massive 300% spike in sales to date for travel between 28th April and May 3rd*.
Flybe launches new French services
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline and the UK’s Number One Domestic carrier, has today announced it will operate three brand new services to France from Southampton International Airport; namely Beziers, Clermont-Ferrand and Pau currently available for travel between May and September.

Flybe, the largest domestic airline in the UK, is considering an initial public offering, valuing the company at up to £200 million. The carrier is believed to be close to making a final decision on whether to go ahead with a float with an announcement due in days.
