México, Partner Country for FITUR 2026
Mexico will take center stage at the 2026 International Tourism Fair as the FITUR Partner Country, as announced today at the country’s stand by José Vicente de los Mozos, Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFEMA MADRID; Daniel Martínez, Executive Vice President of IFEMA MADRID; Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico; and Eduardo Martínez Garza, General Director of CREA. Also present were Quirino Ordaz Coppel, Mexico’s Ambassador to Spain, alongside a delegation of governors; Arancha Priede, General Director of Trade Fair and Congress Business at IFEMA MADRID; and María Valcarce, Director of FITUR.

Under the slogan ‘How to Attract and Retain Talent in the Tourism Industry: Best Practices and Success Stories’, this space hosted high-level presentations with participation from HR experts, academic institutions, companies, and industry leaders who shared their knowledge and experience in the sector.
