On Monday, 14 August 2023, the Organising Committee of Expo 2023 Doha entered into an agreement with the Qatar Stars League (QSL) to promote the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the importance of sports in the community. This agreement was signed during the launch of the new football season, highlighting the commitment of both parties toward this shared vision.
Expo 2023 Doha invited restaurants in the State of Qatar to participate in this global event through snack kiosks at various locations within the exhibition, which will be held in Al Bidda Park from 2 October 2023 to 28 March 2024.
The organizing committee of Expo 2023 Doha has signed an agreement with the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD), whereby the latter will support the sustainability delivery of the Expo 2023 Doha. The signing ceremony took place at the Expo pavilion during the Doha International Book Fair taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Signing the agreement was Mr. Mohammed Al-Khoury, Secretary-General of Expo 2023 Doha, who was accompanied by Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of GORD.
Expo 2023 Doha, a strategic partner with Qatar Real Estate Forum (QREF) 2023, which took place on 4-5 June 2023 under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Expo 2023 Doha is participating in “Project Qatar,” held between 29 May and 1 June at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Project Qatar is the longest-standing construction and development exhibition in the State of Qatar. It showcases the latest smart building technologies and highlights investment opportunities in the Qatari construction market for stakeholders from all over the world.
Expo 2023 Doha participated in the Qatar CSR Summit, as one of its official partners. Expo 2023 Doha was represented by Communications and Events manager Hayfa Al Otaibi, who gave a presentation that included an overview of Expo and Qatar’s initiatives for social responsibility, as well as the initiatives of the Qatar Conference for Social Responsibility.
Expo 2023 Doha participated in the Amir Cup as one of the official sponsors of this year’s tournament. This step comes as part of its efforts to enhance engagement with local audiences and expand community participation in the event, in addition to supporting prominent local sports tournaments.
Expo 2023 Doha participated in the third Waste Management Conference and Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Municipality between May 9 and 10, 2023. During the conference, the Expo announced its sustainability strategy, which aims to promote a culture of sustainable innovation in the State of Qatar and the region and contribute to building a more sustainable world for present and future generations.
