DFDS and Stena strike Irish deal
Stena Line has bought two Irish Sea routes from DFSD Seaways in a deal worth €47.5 million – Belfast to Liverpool (Birkenhead) and Belfast to Heysham. EC clears DFDS acquisition of Norfolkline
Danish ferry operator DFDS has confirmed it is to acquire Dutch-based ferry and logistics company Norfolkline following clearance from the European Commission. The deal has been in process since December 2009, with Danish shipping and oil group AP Moller agreeing to sell the debt-free company for €346 million.
